Go to the Marriott, 2 doors down
The room seemed like it was straight out of 1970. Old, tired, and the already horrible bathroom light flickered. Finally able to get someone to clean on day 3 of 5. The parking situation was also horrible, if you could find a spot at all. Damaged rental car trying to get out of one space. Never again.

we should have been told about the parking price of $44 per night. was not included in the information, if it had, we would not have chosen that hotel. That is too much for a hotel that is not top notch and outdated. In the future make sure the hotel informs you of ALL extras charges so that we can decide if we are willing to pay that.

Sketchy Accounting Practices
I reserved through Hotels.com and fully paid upfront for our four-day stay. Afterwards, the hotel charged us for the full stay plus incidentals ($970+). I called the hotel, was put on hold for 10 minutes, was put on hold again for 10 minutes, then got hung up on. I called back, finally got through to the front desk, explained my situation, and then was transferred to the account manager (I wish I had taken down his name). The account manager said he would only be able to refund part of the amount and would need to transfer the case to their finance department. (I also never got the convention rate for parking, but whatever.) He then started saying that I was double-charged because I checked in through the Hilton Honors app and should not have done that. I explained that I received an email from them to check in through the app, so it wasn't a mistake that I had made. I was simply following the instructions they sent me. For some reason, he kept reiterating that this was a mistake I had made on my end and telling me what I need to do differently next time. So I got frustrated and told him the mistake was on their end, and they need to fix the app. And then he hung up on me. So now, I've filed a dispute through my credit card. Fun times with the Hilton Los Angeles Airport ...
