Beautiful family resort
This is by far the best family resort we ever been to. 5 Pools, 5 Jacuzzi's, Surrey and bicycle rides, golf for kids, beach area on the bay, good restaurants, beautiful views, nice rooms, great service, relaxing and serene environment - what else can you ask for when you are travelling with kids. Only thing missing is an indoor play area for kids - especially in winter that would make a huge difference, the other resort we went had that and was a big help with kids late evening.

Worth the $$?
Great for family time and relaxation. Parking ($37/night) and the resort fee ($32) were high and increased the cost of our overnight stay by almost $80. The property is beautiful and peaceful. On site dining has great views and good food, but is highly overpriced in my opinion (2 burgers at their casual dining spot were $36!). Overall I'd recommend Paradise Point if you don't mind paying more than the average hotel price to stay or eat at a beautiful resort.

Find another place - seriously!
:( :( :( $37/day fee to park your car on the premises....WHAT? $30/day 'resort fee' that includes use of a nearby pool with a hot tub that worked on 1 day of our 5 day stay + a landline telephone....wow! Room was dirty when we arrived, including * (I kid you not!) snot on the shower curtain, * half-inch thick dust along the wall, * mud on the wall, * hair on the wall of the shower Housekeeping was minimal, including * even calling and pointing out that they needed to remove the hair in the shower, it was not done, * sheets were never changed, unless all of their sheets have tire tracks on them - this was on the part of the sheet that shows at the bottom of the bed, so, no we didn't need to sleep on it, * only way we got the mirrors by the sink cleaned was to write "Clean me" with a bar of soap! Old, old furnishings including * refrigerator that froze over even on lowest setting, * coffee maker that quit mid-brew, * noisy, noisy wall heater, * fancy thermostat on the wall that was not connected to anything i.e. changing the temp on the thermostat did not activate the wall heater, * had to request a microwave, i.e. not standard

our room was nice, until we were ready to leave. we went to the closet to one of bags to pack and the whole closet floor was flooded and one of our pillows looked old with all kinds of stains. The bag that was damaged was a limited San Diego Padres leather duffel bag.
