Lovely grounds
The room was like a cave. I was just not use to living without windows open. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Mostly I didn't have any kind of view to look at and you couldn't leave the door curtain open to the world since this is your bedroom. The grounds are lovely only one restaurant worth the dining experience. The Pizza cave should be closed forever. The Barefoot needs to be made more colorful for guest hoping for a pleasant atmosphere

Wish I had more time.
Our family stayed only 3 days didn't get to do all that we wanted. I was hoping that there was a package deal or some type of discount for other attractions. I didn't like that I had to pay $30 dollars for parking.

Filthy hotel
Showed up a little early to check in, they said room would be ready shortly. Waited 2 1/2 hours, now a 1/2 hour past the 4:00 check in time. they said room was ready, gave me the keys and directions to the room. I open the door and it looked like a bomb had gone off, trash an food everywhere, all over the beds also. The room had a terrible stench or odor. I demanded another room, they said they would come and clean it for me. I refused and said this was the worst hotel room that I have ever checked into, and with what I saw and smelled, it would be impossible for me to stay and relax in this room. They changed my room and it ended up being an ADA compliant room where the air conditioning did not work. after calling for service and waiting over two hours, I decided to trouble shoot the problem or issue. I was able to fix the situation myself.

The barefoot. Cafe the last day took over 45 min to get our food and also had to ask for our check. Very slow service and the tables were not full.

Heaven
Amazing. Got an upgrade to the Bayside Bungalow and it was heaven. The kids played on the bay all day right outside of our room. We rented a surrey and drove around the island, even found an Oceanside playground for them to play on. 3 restaurants, room service, golf, tennis, biking and walking trails, ducks and fish to feed, just everything you could possibly need onsite and close to downtown Mission too.
