It was a pleasant stay. Staff are all friendly and will happily greet you and offer help when needed. Great location close to the central station and near a supermarket. The hotel has a great variety of breakfast and I even found gongee which is truly a surprise in an European hotel and much comfort to my Asian stomache. Will choose again next time in Amsterdam :)

It is very difficult to find connecting rooms in the city, but this hotel has them. The staff are okay, and the room is extremely comfortable, especially the bed, which is exceptionally cozy. The view is beautiful, and the location is very convenient, right next to the Eurostar train station. There are no slippers, comb, shower cap, toothbrush, or similar amenities in the room. They do have shower gel, shampoo and a hair dryer. Overall, it is a very comfortable hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in DoubleTree near Centraal. The kids loved staying in the bunk beds. The breakfast buffet was top-notch in terms of variety and quality of food options for everyone. Highly recommend! Also staff was professional and on point throughout. The main downside for us was we felt the lighting in the rooms was insufficient, making it feel dreary at times. This was aggravated by us having a room with the window facing inwards to an alley (no natural light either). While this was a downer, it didn't take away from an overall wonderful stay.

Been here before and will definitely stay again. Great check in - lovely balcony room on 10ty floor - magnificent views over Amsterdam. Only drawback - Luminair Bar directly above us and staff were dragging furniture around at 1.30am could hear everything 😡 No housekeeping done the second last day despite asking 3 times - finally had someone change the towels and empty the bins at 7pm - very basic. Also had a terrible smell in the fridge which appeared to be sour milk maybe spilt by the previous guests - not the hotels fault but certainly a thorough clean was needed - previous guests also left a pair of socks on the floor - you would expect the cleaners to see this. Staff were very pleasant and i highly recommend this hotel despite a couple of hiccups!

I was offered a warm/tasty cookie at check in, and at that point they’d won me over. As someone that does not drink alcohol and most hotels only offer cocktails and champagne at check in so I found this delightful. The rooms were great, more spacious than you normally get in Amsterdam. Customer service was on point and not to mention location which was superb. The view from my room was beautiful, the bed was comfy, the room was spotless and had everything we needed. Thank you! I enjoyed my stay.

Never saw the housekeeping people until the last day around 5pm I was handed some fresh towels. Last day of my 3 night stay. Walkable to train station, city centre? More than hotel states and due to the canals it takes longer to walk into centre area. Enjoyable stay never the less

A standard 4* hotel

We rate the hotel as standard 4*. The room 708 is relatively small though for the high price we paid. It has only a partial view on the river. The room was clean. The furniture is very basic: we have a king bed room with only one chair to seat! The 2nd person has to sit on a stool: this is not acceptable as we have booked for 6 nights (01-07 Sep 2025) with an average price > 6 * 560 cad (this includes a reward night discount of hotels.com). The wardrobe is ridiculously tiny: we don’t have enough space to hang our clothes! Same remark for the bathroom, which is clean but small, with not enough space to hang the towels! In summary, i think it’s worth booking this hotel for a price around 200-300cad/night. For more than 550cad, one should find better hotel in Amsterdam. Just in front of the hotel we have the Sea Palace restaurant, which is a true tourist trap (very expensive meals with basic fast food quality)!
