The staff were the best bit about the Huntsman, so friendly and quick to resolve anything that arose. Rooms were super clean. You could hear the music from the pub which over the three nights we stayed, always turned off before 10.50pm but if you have children or are early to bed that might be an issue.

Really inviting pub with boutique rooms in a great location in the heart of the New Forest. We stayed in the Feature Comfy room, which was really comfortable. The pub has lots of fun spaces, such as a spacious beer garden with a pizza truck and a games room with bowling and shuffle board. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. If staying in the New Forest again, I would definitely stay at the Huntsman again.

Clean and well presented room with good facilities for disabled guests. Staff were attentive, polite and welcoming/friendly. Within walking distance of all that Brockenhurst has to offer. Arrive in good time for parking as it’s good but limited. Best to book a table for dinner as it gets busy but the food was excellent. Breakfast is good value if you go for the £15 option. Good tea and coffee facility in the room with an honesty snack selection to choose from if you wish and pay on departure. Couldn’t get TV to work properly during our stay but staff were trying to get it sorted on the morning we departed. A thoroughly pleasant stay.

We stayed at The Huntsman for one night on the way to Cornwall. The staff were friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was clean and as it was set back from the road, nice and quiet too. We didn’t eat but the food looked appetising! Overall, a great place to stop for a night or two if you’re on a mini break to the New Forest.
