This is very unique quirky hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had Sunday roast and breakfast and both were very good. The restaurant is very relaxed and informal and they were knowledgeable about coeliac which was very reassuring. There were 7 ladies in our party and we all said we would definitely stay there again. It is in a great location , within walking distance to centre. Something to be mindful of is that it is a cashless hotel.

Lovely hotel, very bougie, loved the room, we stayed in the Queen Mary’s loft room, having the double bath was really unique! Staff were very polite and helpful. Negatives, the hotel was cashless and the kitchen was closed so we went out to eat however there is so much choice in the city centre.

Great stay in a very spacious 2 bed apartment. Thought it was the apartments located at the back of the hotel, but they were located about 7 minutes away. We’re told there was only one car parking space so one car parked in a multi storey. One of us rang before to ask about the nearest car park, we were told but weren’t told they had 50% discounts with 2 in particular, which would have been helpful! When we go to the apartment, there was easy enough room for 2 cars so we could have actually parked both cars there. On check in, I assume it was the same person on the end of the phone who didn’t tell us about the car park, said very little, gave us a map of where to find the accommodation, no verbal directions to tell us where to find it, you know, turn right walk 2 minds and the T take a left….. would have been the polite thing to do I thought. Then where I asked it this towards the river? The reply … yes. Overall we found it very informative and unhelpful to be honest.

The hotel was clean and in good shape. The room was perfect apart from the toilet being behind the shower cubicle but that was my fault for booking this room style. It felt quite exposed even with the glass door shut. Great stay and in ideal location.

Great stay with Oddfellows, stayed in the apartment which is 5min down the road and turn left pass the Crosskey pub on the corner right to the end where there is a place with ‘Oddfellows’ on it, it came with parking aswell in the courtyard which was great! Very central but quiet enough at night by the apartment which was ideal, would definitely stay again.
