Our check in was amazing as the Hotel staff set us down and served tea while they checked us in. The lady that helped us was so nice and very proficient at using Google translate to communicate everything to us. We had an amazing Ocean view from our room/balcony as the hotel is immediately across the road from beach. Our room was very clean and very nice. We really enjoyed our stay at the Pearl Star and highly recommend it to anyone spending time in Atami.

Perhaps the best hotel we have ever visited. The personal onsen baths are amazing with a magnificent view of the bay. The room itself was expansive and beautiful. All drinks in the fridge are free. Breakfast is excellent . The staff is A+++ and very accommodating. The happy hour with free unlimited drinks is a nice perk. One caveat— checkin starts at 3 p.m. and not a minute sooner.
