It was a great location, and we were able to see the lake and the very top of Mt. Fuji. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. Staff are very polite too! One downside was that the hotel design didn’t take the hot spring baths into account. The baths were very small and did not offer lake views, which made the experience less enjoyable given the potential views we could have had.

The check-in process was poor. Even when I parked my car at the front entrance to check in, no staff came near me, and I was encouraged to take care of all my luggage myself. Our room had an amazing view. The grounds outside were beautiful and spacious. The room was great but the bathroom is a little dated. Also not many food options at night. We went to the Indian restaurant next door for dinner and it was delicious.
