We had some problems with the heat in our room, but we were able to move to another room with the help of staff. The room that we moved to was an upgrade to us.
When we travel to Myrtle Beach next year, we will stay at the Royal Palms and will request the same upgraded room.
The front desk staff and manager were excellent. We were also given a nice refund for our inconvenience.

We enjoyed every minute of this place. The food and service were excellent and the best beach view from the bar. Definitely a favorite spot to vacation now.

The food at the restaurant was delicious. I liked walking on the boardwalk when the beach was covered with water due to high tide and stormy weather. The pool water was very cold but the hot tub helped to warm up afterwards. We could not find the big gym, but the small one in the basement worded out nicely.

The air conditioner ran all night and never cooled off the room. The coffee cups had the wrong sized lids. The step into the bathtub/shower is not conducive for shorter people. Michael at check in was cordial, engaging, and welcoming.
