It is closer to the beach and the Shem Creek hot spots, and it is significantly less pricey than the hotels in the historic district where we used to always stay. But the selling point for me is the pool area and indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant, which is more resort-like than the rest of the hotel. Big props, too, for having free sparkling water in the lobby!
