We stayed at Hotel Per La in September and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Check-in was easy, and the front desk was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in request, which we really appreciated.
There happened to be filming taking place during our stay, so the ground-floor restaurant was closed, but it didn't impact our trip at all. We spent the afternoon at the pool, enjoyed lunch at the rooftop restaurant, and made the most of the rooftop atmosphere. The poolside drinks were fantastic, and the bartender was attentive without being overbearing.
The room itself was beautiful and full of character. We loved the old-world style and charm of the hotel.
What stood out most, though, was the staff. During our stay, we needed some basic first-aid supplies. The front desk's first concern was whether we needed medical assistance, which immediately gave us confidence that they take guest safety seriously. Security even brought up a full first-aid kit so we could get exactly what we needed.
Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. It's rare to find a hotel where the service feels so personal, and it made a great stay even better. We'd happily stay here again.
