Our room had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was both delicious and amazing… so many choices! Champagne, ginger-orange juice shots, waffles, eggs, bacon, cold cuts, fruit, cheeses, pastries, and more. We enjoyed our location, just a block from The Church of our Lady.

We loved staying at the Hotel de Castillion and if we ever find ourselves in Brugge again, we will definitely be booking here. It is perfectly located, with lovely amenities for hanging out and enjoying wine or chocolate. And absolutely do not skip the breakfast in the celler.

I'm absolutely beautiful, romantic hotel. This staff did everything to make it romantic and wonderful for our honeymoon.

A 2nd visit as we loved the 1st so much and enjoyed it even more this time around. The hotel is gorgeous, its chandeliers and fixtures give it a luxurious feel but it’s very warm & welcoming. The staff were fantastic and on hand if you needed anything without being intrusive. The room was spacious & comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast has a great choice of hot and cold items. The location was an easy 15-20 min walk from the train station, even with cases. Being centrally located it had everything on the door step but quiet in the evening. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Would highly recommend to others.

6/10 Good

The room was lovely but right on the street with buses running past-quite noisy. Could barely get in early even though requested ahead (1 hour) due to overnight flight, didn’t high floor room and it was 35 euros to check out late, Basically couldn’t accommodate any requests, which always bugs me.

Lovely hotel, really well situated in the central area and easy to walk to any attractions/museums. Comfy bes. Nice touch of the wine provided free of charge in the room. Immaculately clean and helpful and welcoming staff. Really recommend and would stay here again

Beautiful and elegant hotel in a great location. Staff was so accommodating and our junior suite was a real treat. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a very nice hotel with Flemish charm.
Cosy lounge with lots of character.

6/10 Good

This hotel is reasonably well situated in lovely Bruges Belgium and on first glance looks to be a well restored older building, however, be aware that the lift is very slow, which they admit. You may also have to negotiate some small flights of stairs, even when using said lift. Upon our arrival, around 7pm, we were asked by the sole employee to wait for checkin while he served some people in the bar. We waited for 10mins. He was personable enough. The room was very nice with a slipper bath and was very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the cellar and was mediocre, so I would advise against a breakfast package and frequent one of the numerable brunch places nearby. On departure, the staff member checking us out was business like. She was efficient enough but lacking any pleasurable personality. Perhaps we got her on a bad day but in conjunction with our arrival experience, I would suggest the hotel invests in better staffing and a little more attention towards paying guests.

The hotel generally and our room specifically were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered us some solid restaurant recommendations, which was nice because there are so many options! The bar in the hotel was a nice, quiet place to end the day in a town that can be rather full of people. The breakfast room is in a lovely room downstairs and the food was all delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Bruges.

Delightful hotel set in a beautiful period property within easy walking distance of key tourist spots and a major car park but within a quiet location next to a beautiful church. Staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were spotless and well decorated. All creature comforts. Bathroom products were of excellent quality. There is a well stocked bar open until midnight a wonderful lounge area. We stayed a few weeks ago then booked again on our way back to the UK. We were not disappointed. We highly recommend and will be staying there again.
