Hotel Ter Brughe, Bruges
Simply Wonderful
I absolutely loved this hotel. It was an easy mile walk from the train/bus station and was located in a very quiet part of the city. It was really easy to find and the hotel staff was AMAZING. Everyone was so delightfully friendly and helpful. Our room only had a tub without a shower, but it wasn't really an issue. The room was very clean and had a lovely view out the window. Our stay included breakfast which was located in the most adorable little basement. The breakfast staff was very responsive and refilled everything before things were emptied. I, without hesitation, would stay here again if I'm ever lucky enough to find myself in Bruges once more.

Best of everything: Ambiance, location, cost
The place itself is charming, especially with a canal view room, the neighborhood is quiet but an easy walk to the center, and the price is reasonable. Staff is also nice.

Good hotel!!!
Good hotel, building has a lot of character and it’s very comfortable but no standing shower/shower curtain made it difficult to shower. Breakfast was good but very limited variety. Good location, friendly staff an de fair rates.

About perfect!
Our stay was everything and more than we had hoped for in our brief stay in Brugge. Spectacular building and setting and extremely helpful staff made for a lovely visit. The breakfast was hoping he and delicious. We will stay here on our next visit.

Great location/nice hotel except for the spiders!!
Loved this hotel!! Had booked two rooms for one night in advance and loved it so much we wanted to stay a second night. First night was wonderful-rooms were great. BUT second night we were moved to the basement where one of the rooms had a huge spiderweb on the outside of the window with many LIVE active spiders in residence. Not saying that the room wasn't clean but the spiders were unacceptable-they looked like they had been living there for a long time. It was nice that they have a bar in the lobby but the drinks are excessively expensive. Tables set up outside the bar area but you can't bring your own drinks there. Otherwise, access to the city was very convenient and Brugge is a wonderful place to be. Hotel is old and very charming (except for the spiders!!!)
