It was a lovely hotel. We loved the rooftop pool and restaurant. Bar Lis was a lot of fun and the service was great. We also enjoyed the daily happy hour in the lobby lounge. We did feel some of the areas were not as kept up as pictures showed. There was a whole area in pictures that was completely missing. We also encountered a fairly unfriendly server one of the afternoons we were there. Overall, a very nice hotel and we had a good time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The property was spotless, the rooms were absolutely silent on the floor 3 - we understand the higher floors can be a bit noisier on the weekend. They have a fantastic roof top bar, restaurant and pool. The food is excellent. The rooftop bar/club seems to be a very popular and upscale place for the younger crowd. We really enjoyed the roof top during the day and early evening. Stafff was wonderful all around.

The hotel is clean, modern and well located. The main issue we had was with breakfast. If purchasing a room with breakfast included beware that this is only a continental breakfast (granola, yogurt, fruit) and nothing more. Basics such as tea, coffee or orange juice were not included and are an additional cost. This was not well advertised and, frankly, was very disappointing. I have never stayed at a hotel where tea and juice were not included in the cost of breakfast. This was such a major issue for us we wouldn’t stay here again for that reason.

Excellent check in and check out service. Good location, not too close to the griminess of Hollywood Blvd, yet within walking distance. Hotel has a classy appearance and staff were friendly and down to earth, making for an enjoyable stay. We checked in on a Tuesday and were able to experience the hotel’s weekly Tuesday jazz night with great food and drink offerings at a set price. The mood was relaxed but fun and the entertainment exceeded our expectations. It was a great night and a memorable start to our short stay in LA. We would happily both recommend and return to The Hollywood Grande!
