Had a fabulous weekend here with family
We ate in the restaurant the food was amazing as was the service. Everywhere was spotless and the beds are so comfortable.
The only downside was there was no main light in the room just lamps which made getting ready in the evening a bit of a pain

IF you book through hotels.com then you have to pay £20 per day to use the facilities i.e. Gym. Not good.

Very disappointed stayed in nicer hotels bathroom was dated and it was double superior room tv old then cleaner woke us up early banging about and hoovering on landing loads of boys was raving a car and shouting at 2am and drove off at speed not worth the money

Very disappointing, definitely not a 5 star! Checked in, staff member was unsure of systems, manager had to assist ( not a big problem, but staff member wasnt really friendly)
Was then directed to an annex building across the road. Had to walk out in the sleet, got to room and it was so basic, gave vibes of a hostel/retirement home!
Gym and spa is another building away and then charged £20 per visit! Not obvious when booking.
Restaurant is a separate building again, so back out in 1° rain and sleet. Didnt feel safe as a single female in the annex building, no key required to get into building and on the ground floor.
Realised then that the receptionist pre authorised by card £200 rather than £100, was told I would have to wait until checkout 2 days layer and then it could yake a few more days.
I travel twice or three times a moth for work, wouldn't stsy here again. Infact I left after the firstbl hour and booked a premier 10mins down the road!

Site could do with signage from the main road as approaching from the east there isnt any signage.

I’ve stayed here many times. Rooms are clean, tidy and well looked after. The TV is very small though, so if you want to watch something, it could be a bit of a challenge.
The hotel is in a safe countryside area. I like that there’s nothing else around, but others might prefer more nearby.
Hot fresh breakfast is good, but the coffee isn’t great. I’d like to see more fruit and yoghurt options as I don’t eat a full breakfast.
I’ll happily stay again.
