Very comfortable and well-appointed cottage, super-clean and with everything needed for a short stay. Felt like a home-from-home for us, and lovely to watch the cows in the next-door field! We would highly recommend to anyone, and two good pubs within walking distance as well, plus just a short drive into Sheffield or out onto the Peaks for fab walking.

Comfortable queen-size bed, decent size, clean room, helpful staff, convenient parking. Biggest problem was following the sat nav, which was a mistake. Better to use the address.

A lovely stay again! Room was clean, with great air conditioning - much needed given outside temperatures - and whilst we initially thought there might be an issue with some traffic noise, it did not disturb us. Breakfast was well organised and of a high quality, and staff were attentive and polite at all times. There is large carpark available, which always factors in our choice.

Great hotel, clean and modern. We asked the reception staff for local recommendations of where is good for drinks and they couldn’t help. It would be helpful for them to have some local knowledge.

We stayed for 2 nights for tramlines 2026. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, We had a lovely room with a great view of the city, parking was a good price, and just 10 minutes walk from town. The breakfast was great too, set us up for the day. Staff were super friendly, the chef's omelettes were amazing!

Excellent two night stay. So lovely to find a hotel that’s very close and so easily walkable quickly into the City Centre but that also has plenty of parking next to the hotel! Excellent breakfast at very reasonable extra price and equally superb dinner. Will stay again if ever we’re in Sheffield.

An absolute gem in Sheffield! The **Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria** offers a perfect blend of historic charm and top-notch modern hospitality. **Warm & Attentive Staff** The team here is outstanding. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was exceptionally welcoming, professional, and eager to help. **Spotless Rooms** My room was spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the housekeeping team clearly takes great pride in keeping everything pristine. **Incredible Food & Breakfast** The food was a major highlight. Dinner was delicious, but the breakfast spread truly blew me away—a massive, high-quality selection of hot dishes, fresh pastries, and fruits, all kept fresh and well-stocked. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back on my next trip to Sheffield!

We always stay in this hotel when visiting the area. We have tried others, but always regret not coming to this one. The rooms are lovely, clean and well maintained, the staff are warm and friendly, the food is delicious, and there is parking on site. It is always a pleasure to stay here.

Visited for 3 nights while attending Tramlines Festival. Beautiful building which has been lovingly restored. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and had everything we needed including air conditioning, fridge, iron and ironing board and well stocked tea tray. Bed was comfortable with a nice firm mattress. Although compact the bathroom had a great shower and bath. Towels and robes were large, fluffy and soft.
