A lovely quiet hotel tucked away from the main road! Modern feel yet stately. The man on reception was happy, approachable & very welcoming. Our room was upgraded on arrival - to a very large room with a beautiful bathtub! Bed was big and super cosy :)

The staff was very nice and allowed us a pretty early check in. It's a quite area of town, so that was nice. The room was spacious and cool. My only issue was that the shower was a bit hard to figure out and, once we did, the hot water was sparce. It would be warm/hot and then you'd suddenly get blasted with cold water for a few seconds...and then it'd go back to hot. Otherwise, lovely stay. Nice staff. Location very close/walkable distance to Paddington Station.

Perfect location as we were attending BST Hyde park. Hotel was clean although strangely packets of tea bags taped to the ceiling???!!! Staff where excellent couldn't fault them very helpful.

Excellent size room for us 2 adults travelling with 2 children .. 2 double beds and a sofa in room . Bathroom was big great size shower and whole hotel was very clean. Staff on reception were excellent and we were able to leave our boys whilst exploring London.

Good location, convenient to underground and close to Hyde Park. Hotel is not clearly signed, so note 63 as maps not clear. Staff very helpful, with luggage drop facility. Room sufficient in size and facilities. Noise from people on same floor and above caused small disturbance, but not significant. Generally a good base to stay for central London activities, would use again.

Hotel is in a great location, close to Paddington station, Hyde Park, restaurants and shops.We appreciated the air conditioning during the heat wave. Breakfast had lots of hot and cold options. Bed was comfortable and room had a small fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing to note was building is old and room had old stained carpet and shower glass partition needed repair.

Lovely building and nice quiet area. Short walk to tube station, very easy to get too. Nice coffee shops close by. The room was tidy. Bed was comfortable and very spacious. Only things I would point out are kettle lid didn’t close properly, bathroom sink didn’t drain very fast and there were no spoons or wooden sticks to go alongside the coffee and tea facilities, so nothing to stir your beverage with, but these weren’t major issues. Air con worked well and the staff were lovely. Would stay again.

Great location - ten minutes walk to Paddington and the Heathrow Express, and far closer to underground stations and bus routes. There are several bars, restaurants and shops close by. In the corner of a quiet residential square, so there's no street noise. The lobby is small but comfortable and there isn't a bar. We were very happy with the English breakfast. We opted for the superior double room which was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the ensuite had a flexi-hose shower in the bath with strong water pressure. The air-conditioning was first class and vital for hot July days.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Everything was clean and aesthetically pleasing the only improvement I can say was that some carpets/curtains needed a replace as they looked like they had been previously stained, but they weren't bothersome to the experience. Very close to Paddington and Lancaster gate underground stations, and very close to Hyde Park which was handy! In a relatively nice area without much disturbance.
