1 day before arrival we have been informed that we have been booked into another hotel due to a sandstorm and they would need to clean up. Fair enough. They mentioned the other hotel was a 4 star hotel. We had no choice but to agree but regretted it bitterly. They put us into Petra Nights Hotel, the worst place I have ever stayed. Funny enough Petra Sand Mars Camp was still bookable for our dates during the time they booked us into another hotel. Anyway, Petra Nights Hotel was so terrible that we had to move out after one night in order to net get sick. I requested a refund but that was declined. I requested a refund with Petra Sand Mars Camp and of course no response. It is one thing to book a cheap and simple accommodation for the experience of a Bedouin Camp but it’s another to be booked into a dirty, filthy, moldy, stinky hotel by another hotel. Choose your partners carefully and treat your clients well. Very disappointing.

Fantastic atmophere with the big stone circle where everyone enjoys tea on the house The beduin food is super good and so breakfast and dinner should be a must for who stay They offer 4x4 taxi rides if you want to visit Petra from backward from the Monastery to the Visitor Centre The lights on the montain at night are wonderfull

Staff number 1 And the owner of the place was full of energy and really goes way out of his way to impress you and make your stay one of a kind experiences Mr Hmaza who helped us find the place and helped us to eat a home made Jordanian homemade dish made by his wonderful lady next door special for us and invited us to his house can’t thank him enough Bilal the owner who made us regret not booking more than a night because he had tons to offer and couldn’t fit it all in one night stay Can’t wait to get back there

The camp is in a wonderful place and waking up with the desert views was breathtaking. The staff who works in the camp is very friendly and the food is also very good. We did our tour in the desert with them, so most probably if you would like to stay in this camp you have to arrange some activities with them.

Hotel is wonderful ! Staffs, services, commodities are excellents. It was for the birthday of my wife and they prepared a nice bouquet + cake for her during the dinner. Food is excellent and at the end you can even enjoy a cup of tea in the lounge with an Arabic singer

Driving to the hotel down the mountain was so fun, the location is amazing and the views to die for! Such a cool concept and would definitely come back to stay again! Staff were great and would do anything to help you! Very close to Petra!
