It's a good hotel and good value. But it could be so much better given the building and the location. It took me ten minutes of running the shower to get it even lukewarm, and I gave up on hot. Hotel was comfortable, but dated. Small signs in the bathroom that things need to be replaced. Shower fair, not great. Sink had enamel missing. But spotlessly clean. Soft towels. Good size double. Bed and pillows very comfy. No air con but a standing fan. Nice touch. The pool and sauna facilities were great. Lovely staff. Overall a good stay. Perfect central location. Maybe ask for any newly refurbished rooms.

Everything was fine, friendly, helpful staff, good room, well fur is her. Only a few niggles - a pancake shower is not user friendly for a Quick shower, no USB sockets in the room, room service after 9pm was rather limited.

Possibly one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in a while. It’s a 2-3 star at best. Went for work for one night. Room was old and a bit damp. AC had been turned off and it was so dark and old. Staff at check in was slow and unhelpful. Bartender was nice. Dinner last night was mediocre at best, service charge included but very little service given. And ladies at breakfast this am were nice but food was awful. I’m pretty sure travel lodge do a better spread. Beyond belief how you charge as much as you do for the rooms, breakfast and food considering the poor quality of it all. As I was with work I didn’t complain but if I was paying privately I’d be very disappointed. Didn’t use spa or gym.

We stayed in mid July. The hotel has a nice vibe but is looking a little bit tired in places and in need of a bit of a spruce. The rooms were incredibly hot. a fan was supplied but it was pretty ineffective. I hate to think what it would have been like during the height of the heatwave when temperatures were 10 degrees hotter. Hotel is well located for the centre of town with everything within a short walking distance. Didn't eat at the restaurant but did use the bar. Staff friendly.
