Had a great experience staying here. The staff were very nice and the hotel rooms were clean and comfy. Beautiful garden with a fountain and nice swimming area. Loved all the antique furniture and pictures throughout the hotel. Such a different atmosphere that was comfortable and relaxing. Easy to walk everywhere around the Riverwalk. Our room was immaculate. Parking was easy as well as retrieving our car. I am a history nerd and enjoyed the amazing museum-like lobby. The pool was clear and the landscaping was beautiful. We will be visiting again.

The Menger is such a beautiful, historic hotel. It sits beside the Alamo and is within walking distance to all major attractions. The rooms are tastefully decorated with antique furniture. Our only complaint was the air wouldn’t cool below 75 degrees.

This hotel has seen better days. I would describe it now as thread, bear, and sparsely staffed great location. The pool would’ve been nice if it worked I was sent across the street to their pool and it was down also

We have stayed here before and always enjoyed our stay. Loved doing laps in the pool. This time around, the pool was so murky that we didn’t even go in. Liked our room which was spacious with a balcony. Slept well.

Rich in history! We loved the antiques and displays dating back to the 1800's. The room was charming and the bed was very comfortable. And it's next to the Alamo and within walking distance of the Riverwalk.
