I want my bed and towels changed for$300 a room!
I understand about water conservation however, changing towels and linens every three days is ridiculous! I can’t even ask housekeeping? I wonder if the suggestion would be the same when wealthy celebrities visit your hotel. This was a big disappointment for us. Every two days is reasonable. There should be a discount for this. Less work for everyone. That probably matters more than water conservation.

Happy to be able to check in when we arrived at 1:00 pm. Great bar. Nice artwork on corridor rooms. Room ceiling must be 16 ft. Small bathroom

The Driskill is a beautiful historic hotel. The room was petite like the description but it was perfect for what we needed. The casual cafe was lovely. Only comment on the cafe is that the all wood chairs are very uncomfortable but there are other options. The bar is very lively and our grown kids enjoyed meeting us there. The service was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing overall! Tiny shower on smallest room.
The hotel is amazing. It's beautiful, you can walk almost everywhere. The smallest room is really pretty too, but the bathroom is so small... holly molly! If you are a big person you don't fit in the shower. It's like 6 ft square!! Thankfully we are skinny mini, so no problem. My parents got a small room too but they received an upgrade. Maybe it's because my dad is big and they were nice enough (or lucky) to give him a bigger room.

Old and tired
Was such a great old hotel. Hyatt has let the property go to hell-- rooms, resturants and some of the staff.

Great Hotel; Increasingly Sketchy Area
Great hotel on 6th and Brazos, probably the best in the area (we’ve tried the Intercontinental as well). Nice room, great staff, beautiful lobby. Unfortunately that area of Austin is absolutely plagued by homeless, some of whom are EXTREMELY aggressive. While not the fault of the hotel certainly, it was bad enough for me to seek an alternate location the next time I need to come to Austin

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was great. The bed was a little to hard for our liking and the pillows werent comfy either.

Always an amazing Christmas experience for us. Love the historic rooms, the gorgeous festive lobby and the fun bar. So close to our children in Austin so it is easy to go and come! Great people who work there—especially during the holidays!!
