Great Indian options for breakfast!
Verified review

8/10 Very good

I actually really enjoyed my stay at the Taj Campton. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and really well laid out. The staff was excellent - bringing water, making sure coffee pods were stocked, and being helpful around small things that make your stay easier, like adjusting check-out time by an hour. Beds were super comfortable. The hotel feels a little dated, but it wouldn't take much to make it feel a bit more updated. Just some fresh paint and replacing the carpet. Overall, really enjoyed. Will likely stay here again.

Great staff, bar, reception etc. but for a 5-star hotel, a little tired.

Excellent hotel, very competent staff, great food - highly recommended. Only caveat is that some of their rooms might require a soft renovation rather sooner than later.

It's a fantastic location in union square, very convenient walking to lots of places. The property is nice, good food in the onsite restaurant. However the room was pretty dated and tight for the price charged. No USB charging ports anywhere, most outlets were hard to find and already had lamps plugged in. Views were of buildings fairly close to the hotels. Not upto the usual standards for a Taj property / high end US hotel.

The Taj Campton is a welcoming place to stay and we have become repeat visitors. All the things that matter are met: cleanliness, comfort, thoughtfulness, location and friendliness.

Nice hotel, good service. Restaurant way overpriced and not good. Rooms were fine, hardly 4 star though. Small size too. Overall, good for SF. Not great, or special. Good location for Union Square

Wonderful one-night stay at Taj Campton Place. The service was excellent, and Saraya in particular was outstanding: warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, which matters a lot to us. A very enjoyable stay from start to finish.
