We had a perfect overnight stay at the Rubens in a beautifully decorated standard double room. We visited Buckingham Palace and then indulged in a delicious afternoon tea at the hotel. Breakfast next morning was excellent and served at an appropriately five star standard. The hotel is in a great position for suitably royal visits as well as other great London locations. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

A great hotel for a reasonable price in a good location. Staff are friendly, especially the door men, and the "cosy" rooms are bigger than most equivalent rooms in London. For a 5*, you'd expect better facilities for drinks e.g. kettle in the wardrobe, and room temp water supplied daily.
