From traditional Peking duck restaurants to trendy lakeside bars, dining options abound in this historic Beijing district. Three subway stations and frequent bus routes make getting around easy, though walking these storied paths offers the most authentic experience. Holiday Inn Express Beijing Downtown by IHG
"Staff are helpful and the breakfast was great."
LiveFortuna Hotel
"The hotel was absolutely lovely and in such a great location! It’s around an hour’s walk to the Forbidden City and 45 minutes to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, making it a great base for exploring Beijing. The room was cleverly laid out to maximise storage space, the bed was super cosy, and I really appreciated the utensils provided. There’s also a Starbucks downstairs for your morning coffee, although the Parisian bakery just a couple of minutes down the road is well worth a visit! There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby, which is really handy for picking up any essentials. The real star of the show, however, was definitely the pool overlooking the skyline, absolutely gorgeous at night and such a highlight of our stay! Would definitely recommend."
Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing
"The room was clean but it’s a bit dated. The cleaning staff was great but the front desk staff at time doesn’t appear to be friendly. The location is great."
Kerry Hotel, Beijing
"Everything one would expect of a five star hotel in terms of service and food quality"
