Staff should be more environmental friendly and not changing the towel everyday. Hotel can also be more environmental friendly by providing bigger bottle of water

One of the best hotels in the world
This is one of the best hotel stays I've had in Beijing... in fact it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in the world. I've come to Beijing many times but it's my first time staying at the Opposite House. The room is luxuriously spacious... it's literally like a spa with a beautiful bathtub and shower. The service of the hotel is excellent but subtle and private. You know it's a fabulous hotel when you don't want to leave your room... and you want to stay longer. It's a real treat to be here.

An aged property in need of TLC.
I expected a lot more from this hotel. I have stayed at the Upoer House in HK and the staff, amenities and overall service experienced is far superior. The hotel has aged, I Love minimalism but the room was way too sparse and cold feeling. Walls with scuff marks, furniture chipped, wires out of place, etc. The area is under construction, that should be clearly stated whennyiubarebmaking a reservation, not jive to find a letter in your room after check in or being awakened by concrete drills.

Hotel | Staff | Neighborhood: Superb
I was thoroughly impressed with Opposite House. From the friendly, English-speaking staff, to the upscale (shopping area) neighborhood, to the gorgeous guest rooms and restaurants, this is a fabulous place to stay. In fact I can't imagine staying anywhere in Beijing. I would highly recommend Opposite House for your next trip to China.
