A wonderful hotel, but in need of an update. The positives - the location, the view, comfy beds, spacious room and gorgeous communal areas as well as friendly staff. Lovely hotel in an excellent location in walking distance of many tourist attractions. Staff, especially concierge staff went above and beyond to assist us. While most European hotels are hot on a cool day, our room was very comfortable on days with 90 degrees plus temps. Great stay.

Absolutely first class from start to finish. Helpful, friendly staff. The room was spotlessly clean. Excellent food and drink service. It was my wife’s birthday and they even put in some nice additional touches, such as a complimentary glass of wine, a small birthday cake and a card. Nice touch. We also had unexpected room upgrade which was a very pleasant and welcome surprise.
