The staff were excellent and professional. The dining room was lovely and food very good. This beautiful old hotel is in a dire need for a refresh. The furniture in the lobby mismatched, old and out of date. Also broken and chipped marble floors. Same applies to the guest rooms, the furniture & draperies old and need a refresh. Not enough outlets in the guest rooms.

This Hotel was a comfortable 1 night stay for us however the check in time was longer than it should have been , they need more than 1 person checking in just before the 4pm check in time…. The Bathroom was a little tight but manageable. The lighting in the bathroom was not good, I had to do my hair using the closet mirror… Our room had really nice views of city and ocean. We watched sail boats across the water, my husband watched a Navy Ship! The room drawers and cabinets should be looked in by housekeeping, there was (maybe still is) a shirt that was left behind.
