If you're searching for a sleek, modern hotel, this isn't it — but if you appreciate old-world character, you might feel right at home. We first stayed here about 10 years ago and loved it. Returning recently, I think the place will soon need a refresh. The beds were comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and you can actually open the windows for fresh air. Top of the Mark is a must at sunset, the food there is amazing. One small gripe: the complimentary morning coffee in the lobby is a nice touch, but there was no tea option. Worth knowing if you're a tea drinker. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Incredible experience and lovely staff, we got in a bit early and they acocmodated us with earlym check in. The food at the restaurant was fresh and healthy meal options were available. The had daily free coffee until 1030 am which was also a nice touch. The location is also unbeatable right at the top of the hill. It was in the middle of everything and easy to walk or take an uber/cable car.
