Nice Hotel
The lobby is decorated nicely. Room is a bit old and not enough lighting. I'm at at 17th floor. We can feel the noise of building's moving due to wind and noise from people in hall way. I like the free WiFi and TV's chrome cast feature so we can stream our own video from our phone.

Well located in the city
The check-in clerks left us standing for several minutes, maybe they were changing shifts. Our clerk did not give us much information, we had to ask about breakfast, and did not direct us to the elevators. Another employee rescued us from taking the service elevators. We did have a lovely and comfortable room with a great city view. The Hyatt union Square is in a great location.

My awesome anniversary getaway!!!
AMAZING!!!! I couldn’t have chosen a better place for my stay in San Francisco. I mean from the moment you pull up to the property the valet men greet you to the door en to the people in the lobby to when you check-in!!! Oh my goodness I mean I was truly in awe!! Everyone is so polite and everything is so clean!! Our room was spotless and I pay attention to all of these things cause I am OCD all the time sometimes a little too much!! But I truly cannot find one negative thing to say about my stay at the Grand Hyatt!!! I stood on the 29th floor and my view of the city was to die for truly breathtaking!! I will definitely go back to San Francisco and will stay at this beautiful hotel again!!! when it was time to go I was actually sad because I felt so at home there!! Truly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great spot!! Worth every dime!!!!

Front desk checking gentleman who helped me was not polite. I asked him if I get free upgrade to next level better room as a VIP Gold member with Hotel.com and he answered no in a very stiff rude way as if I'm expecting to be upgrade. Many hotels I stayed before do provide that to me as a Gold VIP member. He doesn't have to be rude and assigned me a room in corner next to ice machine so noisy. Besides, there was squeaky noise in the room closet throughout day & night. So bad.

Appreciated the early check in after an international flight. Good size rooms. Clean and comfortable. Only complaint was the large gap below the door open to the hallway.

One of the best locations in SF
Great location. Large rooms and bathrooms. Bed a bit too firm for me. Room service leaves a lot to be desired. Use Grub Hub or Door Dash if you really don’t want to leave to eat.
