This was a nice, centrally located spot. My room was well-lit and had a lovely view from the balconey. The kitchen area was kept really clean and it was nice to have access to a kitchen. There are comments about the neighborhood, but as a woman traveling alone I never had any issues coming and going from the apartment at all hours. Nobody ever bothered me. I would stay at the Color Hostel again.

Hotel itself was very clean, staff responded fast through message so we could enter in with code, the actual room it’s safe as someone would have to go through 2 coded doors and a locked door or climb 6 stories, the outside was definitely on a sketchy road people were staring so make sure to look at your surroundings and the people at ALL TIMES. I probably wouldn’t go alone, other than that the room was amazing for the price and bed was very comfty!

I can not fault the hostel. It was clean and well furnished. The area was not safe in my opinion. There is open drugs taking, dealing on the street outside the flat and open solicitations. Not safe for solo females.

First of all this is the worst place I have ever stayed at. I booked a room for two nights with a friend, but we moved to another hotel for the second night. The guesthouse is located in a very sketchy neighborhood, which made us feel unsafe, especially at night. The walls/doors are paper thin, so we heard other gusts conversations. The pictures on the add does not reconcile with the room that we received, and the sheets were full of stains. Not recommended.

Can’t even get in

Arriving without receiving any infos just to find out the front door is locked. The signage of the guesthouse has no contact information. None of the door bells work, tried contacting the phone number shown on the listing but no responses. After a standing on a busy but sketchy street for almost an hour till it gets dark, I have to find a place at a near by hotel… terrible experience. Strongly suggest to get in contact with someone from the guesthouse at least a day before arriving.

The stay was terrible, I'll describe my experience: The guesthouse is located in Little India of Lisbon and I felt super unsafe as a solo traveller. No communication before I arrive, had to wait 15 minutes in the open street with my luggage before I got my passcode, imagine the anxiety. I got a room worse than it was promised, they told me my original room was not ready, I had no choice because I just wanted to get into the hotel. The next day they offered me an upgrade to a nice room in city center with private bathroom, which I think is good. It's just I didn't have a good first night, the street condition of the initial guesthouse is really bad, check online before u book.

Pague y no tuve acceso . Terrible la zona No pude entrar, la administradora te contacta un dia antes de forma muy amable , te envia un mensaje por WS y te envia varios codigos uno de la puerta del edificio que cuando llegue no abrio , la zona es Terriblemente peligrosa , no tiene timbre , no tiene persona que abra la puerta. En la zona habi mas de 50 personas e la calle hombres , las calles llenas de basura . Le escribi y respondio que la puerta la abrio pero despues de esperar 15 minutos . Lo reporte a la pagina y la administradora no reconocio su error de que la puerta no abriera. Tuve que tomar un taxi por 2 horas parandome hotel por hotel para conseguir un alojamiento. Lean bien las evaluaciones anteriores .

El hotel se encuentra ubicado en una sección muy fea y que se aprecia que es muy peligrosa para hospedarse, el hotel nunca te contacta directamente para hacerte saber las instrucciones de llegada, es imposible encontrar la propiedad en internet y hay que usar códigos para entrar, de verdad es mucho mejor buscar otra opción cerca de la zona, puedes ver la ubicación en internet y ver lo mal que está el área, mientras buscaba el hotel vi gente drogandose en la calle, preferí perder mi dinero y hospedarme en otro hotel ya que no fue posible cancelar pero me pareció muy peligroso y más si viajas sola como mujer, no lo recomiendo en absoluto

Publican fotos que no son autenticas. Cuando llegas al sitio te encuentras con lo peor, en mi caso me encontré con sabanas sucias el suelo sucio, las almohadas manchadas las toallas sucias y rotas en mal estado. Y esta ubicado en la peor zona de la ciudad. Yo e solicitado la cancelación y devolución del dinero pero me han salido con que se acogen a la politica de no devolucion del dinero. E llamado a expedia quien a travez de su pagina ise la reserva y de momento no han conseguido la devolucion del dinero. No recomiendo para nada este sitio

Alles kontaktlos abgelaufen aufgrund spätem Check-In, sehr reibungslos. Danke dafür! Wir waren in dem Zimmer 42 mit eigenem Bad. Es war alles in Ordnung. Würde wieder dort übernachten, auch wenn es im Bad nach Chlor roch und die Wände sehr dünn waren, sodass ich jede Nacht mit Oropax schlafen musste. Dennoch sehr nett alles!
