"What a hotel in an amazing location. We had a short 2 night trip and it was perfect, most sightseeing done by foot. The hotel was super accommodating, we got everything we requested. They prepared a surprise for my partner’s bday, champagne on ice, chocolate, etc which was a nice touch. I must say we were disappointed with the breakfast…a lot of options, but not the best. Overall an amazing experience in Budapest, a wonderful city. "

"Stayed for four nights and was very nice. The hotel is very close to Metro line 2. The bathroom was mostly clean, found a few strands of long hair on the floor and towels (I have short hair). The bed was pretty comfortable. The fridge and plates provided were very convenient. Did not choose to eat breakfast as 10/12 euros was a but much for me."

Rooms are well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The receptionists that I have met, and not for the first time, Zsófia and Kinga, were extremely friendly and professional. "The grand old atmospheric hotel is inevitably a bit jaded after 100 years but right on top of the Metro and easily walkable to most attractions, restaurants and bars and the cafe is an attraction in itself."

"We arrived early but were feeling unwell. The staff were very caring and got us into our room as soon as possible, storing our lulggage ulntil we could get a room. While we waited the lobby was very comfortable. The next day we enjoyed the lemonwater and Del Norta pastries very much!"
