Staff was helpful, great location and amazing roof top bar.

On sight dining was nice and staff were great. The decor and ambiance of the place was very cool. The pool closed pretty early and the one day that we had time to go it was out of service so that was a bummer.

Room was clean and comfortable. Area is questionable. The streets smelled horrible which is not on the hotel, but right outside the entrance and exit areas could be cleaner/spruced up a bit.

Hotel was nice. Staff was nice enough. They were stingy about water bottles when the Water Dispenser was out. Said the water bottles were for check in only. Which would be fine if the water dispenser wasn't empty the majority of the time

Very clean shared dorm room. The other guests were also very clean too. In the past staying in a shared room in LA had been a very uncomfortable experience but this was a good balance between affordability downtown and still maintaining a safe environment.

Great hotel in emerging urban neighborhood. Great hotel for families, couples, singles. Rooms are HUGE with comfortable seating areas and big TVs. Dated, but stylish and clean. Some street noise (but hey, it's DTLA). Near Grammy Museum, historic sites, amazing architecture. Homeless issues in the neighborhood, but, again, big city. Lots of filming in the area for commercials, movies, TV. Hotel has a coffee vendor, bar in lobby and on roof by pool, and a restaurant. Good patisserie next door. Many cool bars within walking distance. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Due to area issues, skip the self park and let them park you valet. We travel frequently and would stay there again.

I like how friendly the staff really is and sometimes the showers wasn’t cold.

Loved it! Stayed for a few days for a conference in DTLA so the location was perfect. The only thing I missed was a curtain for the bunkbeds - as to not be disturbed when roommates turn on the light and move about the room. The gym was nice and the kitchen area in the basement too. Pool in the roof was really cool. Overall, the facilities feel fresh and just top notch.
