We love staying at the Faraway. This is our second visit--the location is perfect, very close to everything, high walkability. Our room was beautiful and I love the lotions and signature scent of the hotel. Definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic location in the centre of town. Nothing is more than a 7 minute walk away.

6/10 Good

The property is stylish and well-located. The mini queen is barely big enough for one. Terrible value but this is what Nantucket has become.

Faraway was very nice! In the perfect location, the access to use beach chairs and bikes is so great! We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Faraway in Nantucket. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and full of charm. The location couldn't be better—it's an easy walk to the local shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, making it simple to explore everything downtown Nantucket has to offer. The combination of a lovely property and a perfect location made for a fantastic stay. We would definitely return!

Solid hotel with lively outside space Check in/out tight and often long waits A/C in odd corner of room so temperature not standard across room made for hot sleeping.

Highly recommend the Faraway hotel for anyone staying in Nantucket for their first time. Perfect location walking distance from basically everything including Brant Point Lighthouse! Beautiful and clean rooms with a charming vibe.

The room I got was relatively small for the price, but you do know that in advance. They have different bedding options. It was clean and air-conditioned and had everything you needed. My only complaint was dim lighting in the bathrooms, but otherwise it was a great stay.

6/10 Good

Cute dog friendly boutique hotel in the heart of town, super convenient and vibey. Service is very “hands off” so don’t expect anyone to go out of the way for you. Rooms had very thin walls and you can hear everything including neighbours and street noise. The restaurant and patio is very nice for a sit welcoming guests outside the hotel as well. It would be nicer if it had more of an intimate personal hotel feel for guests with special perks or discounts on drinks / food. Quite overpriced for what you get but that is the island overall.

8/10 Very good

The Faraway was a very beautifully appointed Boutique hotel and we loved our stay here. The rooms are small especially if you have large suitcases but very charming and the courtyard is a really fun place to hang out. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Nantucket. The staff were a little unresponsive and often seemed to be unsure how to help. One day our room was not made up despite us being out all day. Otherwise I highly recommend the Faraway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
