I'd been wanting to stay there for a long time. Finally we had a chance - Very charming older hotel with the detailed furnishings of an older time - it was obviously THE PLACE to go in its day! Beautiful, deep tub - just like the old days! Comfortable bed. We missed having a clock in the room. AC was making noise, so we turned it off - still maintained a good temperature, though. What they don't tell you beforehand is that you must approve a $50 fine from your bank account if something isnt right in the room after you leave.

We've stayed here many times over the last several years. Always clean with a helpful staff but the building itself could use some renovation. Paint, wall coverings anc carpet would go z long way. The room was fairly clean and comfortable....the bright pool lights were a little tough. The front desk staff was not the greatest-directions to my room were "I guess you can go that way and there should be an elevator...either there is or isn't. Wi-Fi was super slow The 1st day I was there at 6:10am and there was eggs, bacon, gravy and biscuits and it was hot and good. Breakfast on my 2nd day was awful-I was there at 6:15 am and there was no eggs, 4 pieces of bacon left and semi cooked hash browns...nobody to ask if more was coming, one waffle machine that had people lined up.
