Clean room space. Not so convenient for the customers to in-out for the path arrangement. Also, need to everyday checkin/out everyday. No one can be in 11:00~15:00 which makes multiple days-stay customers very inconvenient.

Awesome experience

First time in a capsule hotel. Very cool concept. A cheap and practical option for those who are traveling light. The location here was great, staff were friendly and helpful. Pods were more spacious than i expected.
Timothy, 1-night trip

You get what you pay for but the location is great. The individual capsule beds do not have AC, it got really warm during our stay in early September. A small locker is provided for belongings but larger luggage will have to be stored in a common area. The hotel is closed for cleaning middle of the day around 11am-3pm.
Leo, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Affordable and conveniently located. The hotel offers quick access to public transportation, a variety of restaurants, and nearby shopping areas—great value for the price.
Sammy, 3-night trip

Once you understand the rules and process it's pretty great for solo travel. The baths and sauna were especially great.
Daniel, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Lots of restaurants and train stations in the area. Its next door to a pub and karaoke bar so it can get loud at night.
Raymond, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Was perfect for my trip! Capsule rooms were cleaned everyday and I was able to keep things in my own locker during my stay
Myron, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

I'd heard/read about this place a lot, and it's definitely very popular/crowded due to its location in Shinjuku/Kabukicho and the low price. It's been around for a while, and unfortunately the wear and tear shows. It probably wasn't meant to accommodate this many guests, and the locker area is tight and has that hostel smell. The walls are cracking and peeling, and there are big slippery puddles in the bath, so it probably needs a renovation. Elevators are a bit slow, but the staff is very patient, and you get what you pay for with the capsule experience.
Grant, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The location is great for all the walking you need to do. Wether your shopping or drinking and exploring. At night it can get chaotic but never boring.
Daniel, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This place is tattoo friendly and a good amount of staff speak English. It was surprising to see that they had sections for women too.
Daniel, 2-night trip

Good bag storage system before check in.
Lachie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The stay was a lot better than I expected. The guests were quiet , place was fairly clean, there was a sauna, a TV, mirror in the capsule which I didn't expect. The only minor issue was that it was a little hot when I was sleeping and maybe a plug in wallflower fragrance because it can be slightly smelly due to the number of people staying there
cesar, 1-night trip

Very friendly staff who spoke english and were happy to explain how to use the onsen
Harry, 1-night trip

Great location near Shinjuku station. It’s pretty comfortable than it looks.
Judy, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The area is very lively at night and safe for solo travelers. Inside the capsule is spacious, secure, has a tv, a light, and an alarm clock. The bathrooms were clean and can get very chatty. There are a lot of people in each room . The staff provides pajamas, slippers, and towels. You do have to leave everyday between 11-3pm no matter how long you are staying for cleaning
Mianni, 2-night trip

Unique experience in a great location. Very good value. Staff excellent
Robbie, 10-night trip

Considering it was a last minute panic situation for me, I had a great time. It was surprisingly cozy. I was initially really worried about staying in a capsule hotel, but overall it was safe, clean and comfortable
Caitlyn, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

We wanted the experience of sleeping in a capsule. At first, we didn't like the blind at the end of the capsule and it was noisy when people came in. But the facilities were so good and the area was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Alison, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

If you want to experience a authentic Japanese hostel. This is the place for you. There will be some culture shocks. But thats pair for the course when traveling. This hostel is in a really good location for night life.
Sebastian, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

I really enjoyed the simplicity behind the hotel. The idea of having an incredibly cheap place to stay in the Shinjuku, Tokyo amazes me when you look at the amount of things readily available to you either by Metro or walking distance. I say its an experience that should be had. I enjoyed the amount of room within the capsule and the locker system but the downsides to my experience were the other loud guests. I have a feeling i might have annoyed my neighbors while i moved around to get comfortable but there were some guests who were speaking loud and constantly moving and or dropping heavy things. All in all, it was a must have experience. Would I do it again? Yes, if i didnt have so much luggage. Should you always go for this option? Maybe not if privacy is something you cherish.
Nathaniel, 5-night trip

8/10 Very good

Overall a fine place to stay. Not the highest quality sleeping pod I’ve used, but you get what you pay for. You do have to leave the hotel from 10am to 2pm every day for the staff to perform cleaning of the entire hotel. Luggage can stay in lockers, but all guests have to leave. So be aware of that. Bathrooms have plenty of personal care products and amenities, and the shower/spa room is fine and functional.

Capsule hotel review

Price was good and staff helpful. Amazing location in Shinjuku. Night life all around and convenient location to subway. Bathroom had lots of amenities including free shampoo, conditioner, bodywash. Plenty of towels and free disposable slippers available. However, no AC available in each pod or really on the floors. Was quite warm. Not able to store luggage.
