The PB Hotel staff were so helpful, especially the young man at the front desk that made several excellent recommendations for restaurants.

8/10 Very good

Modern and convenient

Great stopover. Really modern and clean with a lovely spacious shower area and near the main station. Tea making facilities in the room would’ve been nice though.

Stylish, roomy

Attractive hotel decor. Large comfortable room, well equipped. Huge bathroom, great shower. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Only issue was the very soft pillows, not to my liking

10/10 Exceptional

The ease of check in. The welcome from the staff. General friendliness of the staff. The facility of free local public transport and the hotel’s care of the environment.

8/10 Very good

Beautifully decorated, handy central location, rail pass included with your room rate. Bizarre choice to add a full length window from the room into the bathroom with no way of obscuring it. Zero privacy. Found myself using the toilet by torchlight in the middle of the night so as not to wake my partner by switching on the light. No coffee machine or kettle to make tea in the room. Basic stuff that can be easily fixed, which would result in a 5* review 👍

6/10 Good

Poor reception services

Hotel is good and location is great. Reception services are poor though. I was charged 9.50 euros for access to the gym - which would have been fine because the gym is great. The issue is reception never told me about the charge in advance - it suddenly appeared in my final bill. I also tried to do an early checkin which they didn’t allow me even with the hotel clearly not fully booked. Another traveller came by reception and got an early check in for a fee, which was never offered to me. In a nutshell, reception needs better training.

6/10 Good

The property was clean and centrally located. Check-in was friendly and efficient - the public transportation ticket was terrific. Our room was a nice size and clean. Unfortunately, the AC was not working and the shower water didn't drain well. The bar/restaurant was closed - often are on Sundays....just wish that detail was listed on Expedia. There was no-one at the front desk when checking out in the morning....although a phone number was left to call, if needed. Fortunately, we paid the local tax the night before....so we just left our room cards at the front desk

Nice ambience, finding parking in the area is a little tough, but the hotel has a contract with a nearby parking garage (which I only learned after check-in)

It's very good location. Staff is very friendly. The free public transport tickets make the bookings such a bargain price.

Clean room, personable staff - those that I was in contact with. Not a major surprise as the hotel is in Germany, but a refreshing change to have an openable window :) The hotel also supplied a "Combi ticket" for the local public transport, valid through the end of my stay.
