Loved Sutton's Haven
We stayed at Suttun's Haven for a week end as we were participating in a local mountain trail race. The inn is special as it originally dates back to 1842. The couple that recently acquired it appear to have a great passion for the inn and making their guests comfortable during their stay. The inn has been beautifully renovated over the years yet preserving its old charm. The room was terrific with a very cosy feel to it. The bed was top notch and felt great after our running activities. We had a nice dinner right downstairs and enjoyed chatting with the owners as they showed us around and told us about the history of the inn and some of their plans going forward. It's pretty much impossible to be stressed at the Haven, oh did we relax....! Overall, it was a wonderful weekend. Thank you Sutton's Haven !

Charming inn in the mountains!
We were visiting Sutton as a family to enjoy the fall colours. The hotel is a charming, rustic inn with a homey feel. Rooms are very spacious and clean, with the antique furniture adding a nice touch. It is a mere 15 minute walk (1 min drive) to Mont Sutton, where you have an almost-panoramic view of the brilliant fall colours. It is also a short drive into town. Staff are warm and welcoming and very helpful in recommending places to see in the area. If you are apprehensive about dining in hotels like me, you have nothing to worry about here. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Definitely try their poutine! We had a great stay despite the rainy weather.

Nice Inn, easy going staff, nothing fancy
Stayed two nights, the place is well located, close to Sutton downtown and Ski resort. Nothing fancy, room was decent, beds were confy, but could hear pretty much everything going on in the inn. Price was a bit high but we went on a popular September week-end when almost everything else was sold out. Staff was super nice and breakfast was good and included.

Great owners
Setting is superbe close to the mountain Owners are very nice and cooked up a fabulous breakfast. Rooms are nice but there is a need for sound proofing I was told that there are plans to re do the old section and soundproof It is very nice inside with a large restaurant area a pool table and a full bar. We were only there one night but enjoyed it very much.

You really feel welcomed. , towels in the bathroom are not only very clean but are of very good quality.. the breakfast is excellent, it is more like a brunch! We hope to go back next year..

Nice Inn in the hills
The owners are motivated to make your stay everything you want it to be. All were very accommodating. We ate in the restaurant and it was delicious! The homemade included breakfast was delicious. The croissants were served right out of the oven. Very close to Sutton Mountain for skiing. Hiking right up the street goes along the stream. We will go back

It's a shame
We were told there was a pool and hot tub ,there was not any at all !,when asked for compensation..... there was none, I felt i was not treated fairly....but the food is excellent ,the staff were very nice., I hope the place is finished by next year, it is very cute, but unfinished, price should be lowered until completed.

Nous sommes réellement déçues car les images des chambres présentées sur le site internet ne sont absolument pas représentatives de la chambre que nous avons eu lors de notre passage à cet hôtel. Ce qu'il faut savoir c'est qu'il y a une rallonge à l'hôtel. Dans cette zone sombre d'un vintage douteux située à l'arrière de l'hôtel les chambres ne sont pas invitantes, brunes, avec un plancher qui est tout croche, la plafond bas qui fait 6 pieds, de style motel des années 1960 sans rénovation, sans charme et sans goût. Si la chambre avait été peu chère, j'aurai compris que j'étais dans un hôtel bas de gamme mais ce n'était pas le cas, je m'attendais a beaucoup mieux. Nous n'avions pas le goût de dormir là, de flâner, de ce reposer comme c'était supposer être le cas. Si nous avions vu des 'images de ces chambres nous ne serions pas allées à cet hôtel. Je suggère d'ajouter sur le site web des images de ces chambres afin qu'aucun autre client ne soit déçu de son séjours comme nous l'avons été ce weekend.

Très bien.
On sent que le Sutton's Haven est en transition. Ce qui n'est pas négatif. L'Auberge est bien, en plus d'être très bien situé (prêt de tout... en auto). Le 1er coup d'oeil est très agréable... le hall d'entrée, la salle à manger. Wow! De plus les déjeuners sont délicieux. Point à améliorer: La qualité des chambres. Look plus vieux et pas très bien isolé. Mais reste que notre famille de 4 a passé un bon moment et n'avons manqué de rien.
