You can't beat the location in the Medina. The staff were friendly, breakfast was good, the room was clean, no views, the bed was comfy and there were plenty of towels. There can be a bit of noise in the hotel because of the layout which becomes an echo chamber. Overall, very nice.

Our stay at Palais Zahia was absolutely lovely! We stayed in the Sultan Suite and the room itself was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable! The staff and housekeeping were helpful and respectful. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the outdoor dining area was very nice. The street noise can be a bit loud but we usually sleep with earplugs anyway so it wasn't a major issue.

Wonderful staff providing excellent service, with a friendly and helpful approach. Great breakfast with both international and national touch. Clean and overall great interior. Great location, though only car service used by hotel was allowed inside the walls of the ’old city center’ - here again the hotel staff immediately helpful by providing info and booking of above service.

We ordered a pick up from the train station and it was confirmed but no one showed up. We tried to reach out to the property multiple times and they never responded. When we got there. They offered us welcome tea, but did not inform us our room was not going to be ready for at least 2 1/2 hours after check in time. So that was a little bit frustrating. The room itself was fine air conditioner worked and it was clean. The bed was comfortable. They do have a rooftop restaurant area, but this location does not have alcohol so please keep that in mind. We had a balcony which was useless given the size of it mainly just if you were a smoker. The lobby and everything is very nice. It is literally in the thick of everything you walk out and it’s just kind of crazy especially when the cruise ships are in town. Breakfast is not included with the room, which is fine, but we did not use it. There are so many options so I guess it really just depends what you’re looking for.
