"Overall, this hotel has good value for money. It is modern, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a wonderful job. It is in an excellent location in the city center, with many things in walking distance, including a large mall.
The complimentary breakfast was extensive, with stations for freshly made coffee, crepes, eggs, and Moroccan breads. The hours are very accommodating. I only had the room service beyond that, and this was delicious as well. A bit pricey, but that is expected for a hotel.
The main drawback was the front desk experience, which felt unwelcoming. A few occasions, I had the impression that my requests were an inconvenience. For instance, I was initially assigned a smoking room despite having requested a non-smoking room in my reservation. While a machine was used to reduce the odor, the smell of stale smoke lingered and made the first night uncomfortable. I had to request a change. Similarly, when I asked security for assistance with getting a taxi, the response felt reluctant.
Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel, with a strong standard. I would be happy to return if I’m again in Tangier."
"Stayed in a double room with my 14-year-old son for one night. The hotel is an easy walk to the Medina, kasbah and tomb of Ibn Battuta. Room and bathroom were very clean; beds and pillows were fine. Breakfast buffet was good, with eggs, potatoes, pastries and various continental options. There was some street noise, but no bothersome noise from nightclub and bar downstairs. They charged an extra MAD27 for tax, and charged me twice (once at check in and once at check out), until I clarified. Still, overall we had a good stay and I would recommend. "
"Ok budget friendly hotel in a good location. The room was ok, the bed hard as a rock. Hot water was hit or miss. Breakfast was ok. The staff were great."
"The location is excellent for those guests looking to rest a lot. It's a bit annoying the difficulties to find transportation immediately, as the only option is a free ride to downtown at 10am. No taxis or cabs in the vicinity, so the only option is to request in advance a ride to downtown, for a $100. A bit expensive.
Some inconvenients during the rush hour for breakfast, as was very difficult to find a clean table. However, after I informed the administration, immediately measures were taken, to solve the problem, at least partially. Personally, appreciated the gesture and the commitment to help from the staff.
If you want to stay at this hotel for a few days, consider to rent a car. The traffic is not too heavy and the roads in good condition. Going to the downtown area by car takes 40 minutes. The beach looks great, but, unfortunately, still very cold and windy in March. I am sure that should be great in summer."
