We didn’t get the door code in advance, due to booking through a third party, but they responded quickly to our call. The room was a nice side, but it was loud due to the gap under the door to the hallway. There are also 4 flights of stairs to get to the rooms and no elevators. Be mindful of this if you’re not a light packer. Cleaning staff were present, but never came to freshen our room. The kitchen is shared and well maintained. Great location, however. Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and bars and a short ride away from even more.

The concept is so cute and I love the self check-in and code. The location is great for easy walking to cute cafes and restaurants. The only downsides was that my room was incredibly hot at 80 degrees and when I asked to have it looked it, they kept saying it was fine on their end and that someone was going to check. They at least let me stay in a different room for a night that wasn't as warm but I swear the AC never turned on. I kept taking photos of the temp and it was always the same even though I turned the AC down to the lowest temp. It was really uncomfortable and I just wanted to be able to relax for a day and I was just sweating. Also, it didn't help that you have a couple flight of stairs to go to the rooms and if you have a suitcase it makes for a workout, only to arrive in a sauna room.

Great location for my trip to Milwaukee. Room large and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. One comment. The trays in the refrigerator need to be better marked with room numbers to avoid confusion and to prevent personal food stored from being discarded.

I've travelled extensively over my 45 yr career & this is one of my top three favorite accommodations. Kinn Broadway has everything you want in a hotel and it's first class. Location, easy parking, secure, fabulous on site restaurant, well furnished and designed guest rooms, and I was pleasantly surprised by an extraordinary common area on every floor. There is a well-appointed kitchen, living area and conference room that is shared by guests. The thoughtfulness, care, and quality that was deployed in the design and build of this property is outstanding. The staff and management are consummate professionals and wonderful hosts. The Ritz and Four Seasons has a new & formidable competitor!

Great location! Steps away from all the charm and quirkiness that is Bayview. We had a beautiful room with a very comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant downstairs (Sorella) on their patio. Would definitely recommend and come back again. (One small note- the walls are thin and you can hear people in the hallways and communal kitchen. So just make sure to pack some ear plugs)

The Kinn Guesthouse is a great concept that needs some fine tuning. We booked through Hotels.com for two different nights a week apart from each other. Both stays we ended up having to call Kinn House to get pass code for doors. The air conditioning was fixed for our second stay so our room stayed cool during the night. Both stays we utilized the living/kitchen space which was clean and very functional. Better instructions should be provided to third party customers so they are not lost at checkin. Also a signed parking spaces in the back would be helpful for the Kinn guests.

This is a great place to stay but it is not a hotel. It is a property with 8 managed apartments. There was no in person staff that we saw. Check in codes were sent to us a day before. There was no housekeeping while we were there. The room was large, well maintained and very clean. The only negative was the bed had no headboard and the pillows tended to fall between the bed and the wall. 7 of the rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator so those who have difficulty climbing the stairs should not stay here unless they get the 1 ground floor room. Overall, I would recommend.

Kinn Guesthouses are a great place to stay if you don’t mind no front desk and coded entries. We’ve found them to have large rooms which are tastefully decorated, comfortable and quiet. The common area is stocked with teas, coffee and breakfast cereals which you can use. Be sure to contact property directly before you arrive for entry code. Expedia apparently does not share contact information with Kinn so you can access the room. Therefore they have no way to send you this information This can result in check-in delay until you find a person affiliated with Kinn to update you with this info.
