Port Townsend is an extraordinary little town, particularly if you love historic buildings. If you are a shopper, you will be happy! Many fine restaurants - overall a simply delightful place to visit. We were there for four days and enjoyed each one.

One part of Port Townsend faces the bay area and it is nice taking a morning or evening stroll along the waterfront. There is a marina and museum further down the road. You can drive to historic uptown to take a look at the pretty houses there

It's a cute, historic, and clean town. Lots of green space and hiking nearby. Fort Worden was a great place to visit in town. It appears the city has/is renovating several areas. For the most part, the town was very friendly to us visitors.

I spend most of my visit at 2 state parks: Fort Worden and Fort Flagler. I enjoyed both. As to the town, I found it to be quite pleasant, lots of shopping (which I didn't do), and great choices in dining, lots of historic buildings.

Port Townsend was fun! Lots of amazing places to eat and some great coffee shops. Best part about our stay was the rich history of the area and turn ofvthe century architecture.

Port Townsend is a cute town with some interesting points of interest, but there's inconsistent sidewalks, so it can make walking about (unless you're in Downtown) a bit tricky.

Such a pleasant place to spend the week in. Great downtown/waterfront area. Lots of shopping. Places to eat. Views from the shore. We will be back. 😁
"The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Room and bathroom were clean, and we appreciated that the parking lot gate is closed at night for added security. Easy access to many popular attractions such as Pike place market."
"The staff were so friendly, the room was huge and spotless. The location was excellent. We were there for a dog show in town. They are super pet friendly. Dog cookies on check in, wonderful place to walk dogs. Only issue is was pet rooms are only downstairs. I asked for an upstairs room but was (seriously) nicely told that the second floor was only non-pet. And of course the people above me walked back and forth non-stop from 8 pm until after 11 pm! I even turned on a sound machine and the fan on the air but It was like they were going to fall through the ceiling. I would LOVE to stay there again (I'm up there a lot for family) but will not because of the noise. "
"Your unlimited snack table was the best. We have rarely, if ever, enjoyed this at a hotel! Thank you for the beautiful flowers out front, the delicious breakfast spread and the excellent, kind people who work there."
