We absolutely loved our stay at La Banque Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. Our room was spotless and had several thoughtful touches that you don’t always find, including a full-size ironing board, a luggage rack, a lockable safe, and even a full-size umbrella in the wardrobe for guests to use if the weather turned. It’s clear the hotel pays attention to the little details that make a stay more comfortable. The complimentary continental breakfast had a great variety of options and was the perfect way to start each morning before heading out for the day. We didn’t have a car, so we can’t comment on the parking, but one of the biggest highlights for us was the location. The Homewood Metra station is less than a two-minute walk from the hotel, and we rode the train into downtown Chicago every day. The trains were consistently clean, reliable, and felt very safe, making sightseeing incredibly easy without having to deal with traffic or parking. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with outstanding service and convenient access to Chicago, La Banque Hotel is an excellent choice. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family!

The hotel was exactly as pictured on Hotels.com. It was in close walking proximity to excellent restaurants and bars. I would have given a 5 across the board had it not been for two things. One, I have several disabilities and was not informed that elevator was out of service until check in. The staff was very apologetic as they had no way to contact me since I booked through a 3rd party. Now what really rubbed me the wrong way when I came down Sunday May the 31st in the morning to ask to use the microwave. The employees first response is are you staying here all the while that I have the room key in my hand. From one black woman to another that was extremely insulting, why would you automatically assume that I'm not a guest?
