Excellent stay in a prime location Stayed at The New York EDITION and had a great experience. The hotel is stylish, calm, and very well maintained. The room was quiet and comfortable, with excellent bedding — perfect for resting after busy days in New York. The smell was amazing and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The property is gorgeous and so conveniently located. They give a credit every night at the lobby bar or spa fo offset the cost of the daily fee which is really nice. Will definitely stay there when I’m in NYC next time.

For the price I just cannot accept that you don’t get an in room coffee machine. They offer free coffee in lobby up to 10:30am, but I hate having to trek down first thing in the morning. Hat to also call to get shower gel as there were no extras in the room. Check in took 15 mins. Room was ok for the price. Service was good.

The lights would not go off at the bed only at the entry, the wall sockets for phone did not work, the closet doors would not remain open.
