This is seriously the perfect hotel for a “home away from home”! You are within walking distance of sooooo many cute shops and great eats! The staff is so warm, welcoming, and helpful! Lovely boutique hotel! The room was beautifully decorated with well-equipped kitchen, comfy living area, and quality bath amenities, robes, slippers, etc., in a perfect downtown location. We only spent one night to see the Thomas Dambo Trolls at the N.C. Arboretum, but it would be a great home base for extended stays exploring downtown Asheville and beyond.

What a gem! The Windsor is a fantastic property right in the heart of Asheville’s downtown. Historic, charming, well appointed. — The room was basically a small apartment with full living room and kitchen setup — great for a comfy stay. Amenities were amazing including complimentary drinks and snacks, fantastic touches in the room like a W/D with included detergent — Just a small example of the little touches, the detergent was fragrance free to be considerate of guests who can’t tolerate scented detergent, etc. Staff was fantastic and gave great local recommendations — Would definitely return and don’t hesitate recommending!
