Great location. Very loud at night with the card and motorcycles right outside your door.

Great location but needs major updating
The staff were extremely courteous and the location was great. But the hotel needs some major updating. The stairwell had peeling floral wallpaper. It was also not quiet. I understand that we were downtown on a Saturday night but there were people running down the hallways of the hotel yelling expletives. I was incredibly thankful I didn’t have children with me.

    Great location
Room dated. Cosmetic changes not enough to cover its age but for the location it was satisfactory. Hotel allows dogs. Big ones and barking could be heard through the walls. Was very clean. Parking limited. Location was excellent. I would stay again.

Downtown Inn & Suites, the good, bad and ugly
The good - The Downtown Inn & Suites is within easy walking distance of many restaurants and shops, located on what I would consider the edge of "downtown". The staff were friendly, the bed comfortable and the room clean. Room price includes breakfast - 3 waffle makers, using a good malt batter, fresh bagels, cream cheese, 2 cereals, coffee, juice, fruit, sausage and egg sandwiches included. I found it the cheapest option in town. The bad - not my idea of an inn, more of a motel type with doors opening to the outside. The ugly - this hotel is extremely dated and slightly worn. There are two elevators, but one requires you to walk outside and use your key, not the best option when it was raining and the one inside wasn't working. Probably due to the low rates, the hotel was first choice for the bachelor party that greeted us on the fourth floor outside balcony as we found our room two doors down. We weren't bothered by the blow up doll stationed there, but others were and asked to be moved.

Great location and very friendly staff. A bit run down, but clean. Noisy traffic, but worth it for the price.
