A wonderful getaway. It was lovely. The room was beautiful with a fireplace they came and started for us. We had a balcony over looking the marina, and river. The sunrises were amazing. Great places to walk or take a resort bike. We were there in October and it was great. I will take out of season any day. Old Saybrook is a treasure.

Check in was seamless. Staff were so friendly and welcoming!! We were very impressed with our room…. the size and cleanliness exceptional. We had drinks at the ChooChoo lounge and Daren the bartender was very engaging. Breakfast in the restaurant was wonderful. A perfect stay and can’t wait to return.

Very clean and updated room. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Nice furnishings and a large TV. The outdoor pool is not that big so you must get there before 8am to get a lounge. It was great to have a spa on site. My massage therapist was excellent. The check in was painless and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. Plenty of parking! I highly recommend this property!!

It’s a nice hotel on the marina, the room was spacious and clean, and the outdoor pool was nice however it was dirty both in the afternoon and in the morning. There were clumps of hair floating around. Our room looked over the parking lot and the car alarms were annoying. The room also shook a few times as if in a earthquake so there’s something structurally wrong. It’s not soundproof either. Nice hotel in a nice location but way overpriced. For what we paid I expected luxury but this was not that. The restaurant staff was lovely and the food was good, expensive but good.
