It was okay. The room was dated but clean.
I had a beautiful view of the Capital Building and park, across the street. Walked my dogs there. It was a bit sad though, many homeless people. Hotel parking was full when i arrived. But, the hotel has an agreement with the lot owner adjoining their building. "Air garage " The parking lot has a lot of glass, I was concerned my dogs would slice the pads of their feet. And, the smell of urine was very strong. I didn't feel very comfortable there. The lobby staff very very nice and knowledgeable. Even though i liked the staff, i wont be returning to The Capital Hotel again.
