Norwalk Inn is colder than an igloo

Please do NOT use this hotel!! The HVAC is not functioning and the front desk just told us to wait, we could not get the temperature above 65 although the thermostat told us it was 70. We froze for two nights and then checked out before the third night and went to Hotel EVEN for the third night. I am 73 years old and on blood thinners so I can not be in the cold. Upon checkout the desk clerk refused to give me a receipt for the keys that they had just taken from my hand. The Norwalk Inn refused to refund us for the third night. I feel that Hotels.com owes us a refund because they acted as our agent and booked our third night's stay at another hotel. We also found the Norwalk Inn had a noise problem as we were constantly awakened by noisy people in the hallway and in the room next door. If you need to go to Norwalk stay at the EVEN hotel.
