While this hotel looked promising from the outside, its interior was very "motel." The elevators were dirty, and the rooms did not look nearly as nice as the pictures. No one made up the room or brought new towels, and it lacked basic amenities like lotion and a blow-dryer. On the upside, it's in a decent location, close to the college and the Naval base, with plenty of restaurants and a movie theater in the immediate area.

Room was good, had no towels had to ask front desk for them, there was no Air Conditioning in lobby or hallways, ice machine seemed dirty.. got my deposit back quickly. Pool was nice but a little dirty, overall not too bad. Just need to fix the ac is the most important cause the restaurant was closed too probably because the air conditioning

Pillows were like planks once you laid upon them. They sunk down and became really hard flat surfaces. Nothing comfortable about them. Rooms well Air conditioned but the lobby and elevator were not at all. Not sure what the issue was, but I never spent any time long enough to really care. There was no air conditioning on the first floor with industrial fans blowing hot air around the corridors. I give the front staff kudos for working under those conditions. There was air conditioning on the upper floors but you could feel the heat rising up the elevator shafts. My room had a king bed with sheets the did not look altogether clean on one side so I kept to the other side. The room was large but looked weird with furniture only taking up 1/3 of the room. The other side held a floor lamp in the corner with no chair of any kind to sit in. I couldn’t go to the lobby to sit as it was hot as hell there. The restaurants were closed due to the heat.

This hotel has a unique "vibe" (there's a classic car in the lobby) and I like staying there. I did once before because of the convenient location then on my next trip to the area specifically picked it again because it was safe, clean, great staff, decent room for a good price. Quick weekend getaway

Spending the weekend in Jacksonville house hunting. The hotel was very cozy but also very, very dated. I thought we had a cow printed chair in our hotel room, but it was an old leather chair with the leather flaking off all over the place. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Service at the front desk was great.
