This is the best place. If you are considering booking then definitely you should book Hotel Melanie! The most relaxing place, close to the lake and the Forrest, I absolutely loved staying here. The spa was very nice and the daily breakfast buffet was amazing. The staff are really nice and helpful.

We really liked the atmosphere here. The rooms were large and each had unique balconies. the place was clean and had a great feel. Breakfast was very good with a large selection. I liked the residential location of this property in a quiet area. Salzburg was not far away and the mountains were beautiful. I really liked the modern feel of this property. The spa and pool amenities were impressive. Great, quiet place to relax and use as a base to visit Berchtesgaden.

This hotel met and exceeded our expectations! The staff was excellent and attended to our every need. If we had more time; we would love to have staryed longer. The breakfast was excellent with a plentiful array of options. We enjoyed the pool with the nice outdoor area beside it. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. The room was comfortable and clean, and my 17 year old daughter said it was “really cute”. The spa area was large and very clean. The different saunas and steam room were perfect for winding down after a day of hiking and getting after it. The breakfast had all the options I love seeing at a Euro B’nB. We were in Germany and Switzerland as well and stayed in 7 other bed and breakfast type places, and Melanie was our favorite!!!!

Very nice and quiet relaxing place to stay. It’s a cool quiet neighborhood in the countryside about 15 min from the main area of Salzburg. Parking on site makes it easy to get in and out. The whole property is clean and well taken care of. Very safe. Breakfast was great. Pool was great. Very family friendly.

This hotel is amazingly peaceful and just the break we needed. With amenities like breakfast, spa access, and lake access including, I was very impressed. They even helped us when we ran into a taxi problem. I will definitely be coming back here and recommending others soon.

A family-run boutique hotel, with super-friendly service and well-kept facilities. Very spacious room, excellent breakfast and free parking onsite. The only (seasonal) letdown is the lack of air conditioning on a hot night, where sleeping with the window open also brings in the noise from the road.

We love this hotel, we are always able to relax and refresh when we stay here as we drive through the region. Clean, modern but cosy. Love the leisure facilities where we have our little pool-sauna and tea ritual. In a great location. Great service.

Very nice property for countryside lovers. Transportation is a big challange. Takes almost 15 min walk to bus stop( night walk is quite scary due to no street lights on road) and almost 30 min to city.
