Absolutely beautiful place. The architecture is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and classy, and the entire property has a very unique feel. The rooms and amenities are great, with plenty to enjoy—from the lake and boats to the restaurants and beautiful outdoor spaces. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and I really appreciated that almost everyone spoke very good English. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy good food, meet people, and take amazing photos. If you’re staying in Paris and want to escape the city for a day or a weekend, the Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay is only about 45 minutes to an hour outside Paris and absolutely worth the trip. Definitely a must-visit, and I would absolutely go back!

Oh my goodness. This vast wonderland was marvelous. From the charmingly and tastefully appointed (and immaculately clean!) rooms to the lounge areas to the 5-star restaurant (we met the chef! who was a fabulous combination of kind, friendly and pretty) to all the activities on the seemingly endless grounds, we could have only had a better experience if we stayed more nights. Despite my rather large vocabulary, I will fall short if I try to describe it. You must go there to experience it for yourself. From the lovely people at check-in to those who transported us to various activities and took our luggage, I found that they loved their jobs or at least showed that they wanted to be there helping us have fun and enjoy the stay. Next time, more nights.

I have been visiting this hotel for years but after the renovations it underwent it has really become a classic for me. The improvements to the rooms and the hotel in general really make a worthwhile difference. Breakfasts in the new dining area are a beautiful experience. I will definitely try to visit again

Beautiful countryside getaway from Paris

We had a wonderful stay with a vibrant atmosphere! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. The grounds and interior design were absolutely charming, with impressive attention to detail and craftsmanship. Overall, the stay was both beautiful and relaxing. As for the downsides: The food, while good, is on the pricier side, and while it’s convenient to have multiple restaurants on-site, the quality doesn’t quite match the cost. Still, you’re paying for the overall experience, and for me, it’s well worth it. The room itself was cozy and beautiful, though we did encounter a few issues: the bathroom featured a tub with a handheld shower, making it a bit tricky to shower comfortably, and there was some noticeable water damage, which was surprising considering the room’s price. These were minor issues, though, and didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’d definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing 2-night getaway.

We stayed at this amazing hotel for 2 nights. The grounds are breathtaking and really fun to explore. We felt like royalty!! The staff is incredibly nice, helpful, & accommodating. All of our meals were delicious. Though the rooms are not air conditioned & get pretty warm during the day (mid-July), the nights cool off very nicely and we had no trouble sleeping. We highly recommend this hotel.
