Historic old Inn with plenty of charm in a great setting. Rooms and grounds were filled with history. Library filled with old books and dining room and bar were very nice as was the outside eating area. One downside to our stay was that a wedding was being held on the grounds and the dining staff was limited. As a result service to our table was virtually non existent and the food was not very good.

Very clean room and comfortable settings. Staff at the bar were wonderful to chat with and friendly. Food in the main dining room was spectacular (was my Bride’s bday and there was no complimentary dessert, but we still enjoyed the meal). Went for a walk because bike tires were low and handlebars needed to be tightened which was fine as there really wasn’t much of a place to ride. River view was peaceful and we saw a group thoroughly enjoying their time by the waters. A peaceful place to lay your head for the night

Beautiful setting. Classic. Food is wonderful. Staff always very helpful but they could have staffed a bit differently to be sure there was always a person close by. Need to beef up gift shop. It’s the Inns 100th birthday and not a piece of clothing, hat or gift to commemorate this landmark. How about Winston teddy bears? Truly loved our stay.

Charming hotel, staff wee great. Restaurant was understaffed for July 4th but they were able to accomodate us. Highly recommend it but please make sure you have a dinner reservation on busy days. Also, the bar and restaurant have beautiful patios on both sides but they both close at 9pm. There is nothing nearby. Suggestion for management - maybe consider staying open later?

Quaint English style Inn in beautiful Southern Humboldt. The best thing about this place is the bar/restaurant. We had dinner there each of the 3 nights we were there. Service and food were excellent. The room was unique with heavy scent of smoke from the wood burning fireplace (which we did not use).
